Switch Disconnector Manufacturer

Explore how Shieldhz manufactures low-voltage switch disconnectors and PV DC isolators in Zhejiang, China—from component preparation to assembly, inspection and packing.

Inside Shieldhz manufacturing

Shieldhz is the export-facing brand of Zhejiang Shihe Electric Co., Ltd., a switch disconnector manufacturer established in 2014. Our Yueqing, Zhejiang manufacturing base supports component processing, switch assembly, marking and packing for industrial control components.

The factory photographs follow that workflow from component preparation to dispatch. They show rotary cam switch assembly; production and inspection requirements for SH30, GF series and enclosed orders are confirmed separately against the selected model and specification.

Preparing the components

Component preparation links the approved design to the parts used at assembly. Tool preparation and molding address component shape, fit and material requirements before the relevant production route is agreed.

Tool preparation

Tooling work on a switch-component mold.

Tool preparation includes bench work and manual finishing. The tools used for a component need to match its required shape and fit, so the component can suit the selected product design at the next stage.

For a changed housing or mounting detail, a drawing helps define what needs review. Confirm whether the proposed configuration can use an existing tool or requires a new tooling discussion before production is agreed.

Component molding

Molding equipment used in component production.

Molding equipment forms the relevant insulating and housing components. Their material, shape and fit requirements follow the selected product design, including the mounting and enclosure details needed for the finished assembly.

An enclosure change should be discussed alongside the switching function. Share the installation drawing, cable entry and exposure conditions, then confirm the protection requirements for the complete switch-and-enclosure configuration.

Assembly, inspection and product identification

The assembly workbench brings the switching function, contact arrangement and mounting parts together. Inspection and product identification then relate that physical assembly back to the approved model and order requirements.

Switch assembly

The photographed workbench shows rotary cam switch components being assembled. The contact program, terminal arrangement, handle positions and mounting parts must correspond to the approved model and intended switching function.

For selector, transfer or custom switching functions, the contact table or wiring diagram defines the required arrangement. Confirm it during model and sample review so the proposed configuration is clear before the order progresses.

Inspection workstations

Dedicated workstations support production inspection. Applicable checks depend on switch type, configuration and agreed requirements. Discuss the inspection scope and available records when reviewing a sample or approving a batch.

The selected model and agreed order documents establish the applicable inspection details, including any requested methods or records.

Laser marking

Laser marking provides product identification. Model information, brand artwork and other requested content should be approved for the relevant product before marking arrangements are finalized.

For OEM supply, agree the marking content alongside the selected configuration and packaging brief. Available options, tooling requirements and quantities need review, helping keep the supplied product and its documents aligned.

From packing to factory dispatch

Packing and dispatch carry the approved order into its supply arrangements. The product, accessories, carton identification and shipping documents need to be discussed together with quantity and destination.

Упаковка

Individual product packaging before carton handling.

Products move into packing after the applicable production checks. The packing arrangement sets out how the switch and accessories are grouped, identified and prepared for handling, according to the order requirements.

Branded packaging and product grouping should be discussed at quotation stage. Include the artwork and labeling brief with the model and quantity so available packing options can be reviewed before order approval.

Carton handling and factory dispatch

Packed cartons are handled and transferred for factory dispatch. The confirmed quantity, carton marks and delivery destination provide the basis for reviewing the packing arrangement and the documents required by the agreed supply terms.

Before dispatch, confirm the destination and shipping-document requirements with the order details. Where the project needs model-specific certificates, drawings or declarations, request the relevant files for the exact supplied configuration.

Confirm the switch and its documents before production

A useful inquiry gives our team enough information to match the switch function to the installation. Send an existing model reference or your application details, and request the supporting documents for the exact proposed configuration.

  • Electrical duty. State AC or DC supply, operating voltage, load current, load type and expected switching duty. Thermal current alone does not establish suitability for every load.
  • Contacts and installation. Confirm pole count, contact program, handle positions, mounting format and installation drawing. For an enclosed assembly, include cable entry and the exposure conditions.
  • Model documents. Request the relevant datasheet, contact table and dimension drawing. Check the model designation and configuration against your sample and purchase specification.
  • Market and approval requirements. Identify the destination market and required certificate or declaration. Document coverage and enclosure/IP conditions must match the selected model and assembly.
  • Order and marking details. Share quantity, sample needs, artwork, packaging and requested delivery timing. Confirm available options, tooling needs and the order lead time before approval.

IEC 60947-3 distinguishes switches, disconnectors and switch-disconnectors for low-voltage applications. Confirm the selected model's switching duty, ratings and applicable documents rather than treating these product functions as interchangeable. View the IEC 60947-3 scope.

Manufacturing and sourcing questions

Who manufactures Shieldhz switches?

Shieldhz is the export-facing brand of Zhejiang Shihe Electric Co., Ltd., a manufacturer established in 2014 in Zhejiang, China. The manufacturing base is in Yueqing and supports industrial control component processing, assembly and packing.

Which disconnector and isolator products can I discuss with Shieldhz?

Start with SH30 load isolators for AC equipment isolation, GF series isolators for PV DC applications, or an enclosed switch assembly. Specify the switching function first: a rotary cam switch, load isolator and PV DC isolator require different model and duty checks.

Why do some factory photographs show the Si&hel name?

Si&hel is part of the original product foundation of Zhejiang Shihe Electric Co., Ltd. Shieldhz carries that product legacy into its export-facing brand. For an order, confirm the supplied model, product marking and documentation with our team.

Can I request OEM markings or packaging?

Send your artwork, model requirement, quantity and packaging brief for review. OEM options, tooling requirements, minimum quantities and lead times depend on the proposed configuration. Agree the marking and packing details before approving the order.

What documents should I request before approving a sample?

Ask for the selected model's datasheet, contact table, dimension drawing and applicable certificate or declaration. For enclosed products, also confirm the complete assembly's enclosure/IP conditions. Match these documents to your installation and destination-market requirements.

How are inspection requirements confirmed for my order?

Provide the model, application and any inspection or record requirements during the inquiry. Our team can discuss which checks apply and which records are available. The production photographs show workstations; the agreed model and order documents establish your inspection scope.

Discuss your switch disconnector requirement

Send your application, AC/DC rating, pole count, mounting or enclosure requirement, quantity and target market. We will review the model route and the drawings, sample, marking and documents needed for your order.
